Using a dummy dataset, I have designed a dashboard to visualize the average time a user spent on the social media platforms.

Here are a few highlighted features in this reporting template: 

1. Donut chart (Avg time by Location). More and more users choose to use donut chart instead of pie chart. The extra white space in the circle makes the visual cleaner and users less distracted.

2. Heatmap (Avg time by gender and age). Heatmap chart allows for more complexity. It is helpful for identifying trends, pattern, etc.

3. Allowing Users to swap visuals. It is a very useful tip that this design gives user the filter to choose which visualization to show on this page. A user can choose to swap between visualization by platform vs by content.
